Project details
Chaurasia Lab aims to understand how lipid metabolite ceramides: impair nutrient sensing in adipose tissue and contribute to development of metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases etc. 

The undergraduate volunteers will have opportunity to contribute to ongoing and future planned projects. Prior experience desired but not essential. Training will be provided in both in vitro and in vivo models of obesity and diabetes.

Time Commitment
10-15 hours per week.
