Project Details
We use mouse models and behavioral, cellular, and pharmacological tools to investigate the mechanisms that regulate social behavior and disruptions in social behavior associated with neurodevelopmental disorders. We are also interested in neural basis of sex bias in neurodevelopmental disorders, which affect males 4 times more than females. The undergraduate research assistant would be responsible for animal maintenance, behavioral assays and analysis.
Qualifications
basic knowledge of neuroscience, experience handling mice or motivation/enthusiasm to learn animal behavior
