The ICRU Lecture Series is hosted by the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates, and allows any interested undergraduate student (with the guidance of their research mentor) to present their research at a smaller, more informal meeting. Lyndi presented her research findings on high-impact internships in Iowa museums. Her discussion explored eight best practices for internships based on prior research and interviews with museum professionals. She provided insights from both intern and institutional perspectives to encourage constructing internships as mutually-beneficial partnerships.
